First and final complete facsimilation of Leonardo’s complete anatomical work , unfolded by the comprehensive text volumes. These containing the transcriptions of the original texts written in reflected face together with the English translation, and – especially medical – notes on the drawings reproduced additionally here. Carlo Pedretti, director of the Armand Hammer Center for Leonardo Studies at the University of California in Los Angeles is, together with Lord Kenneth Clark, author of numerous relevant publications. The medical man Keele, specialized in especially the anatomical studies, i. a. wrote the commentary to the Leonardo exhibition at Queen’s Gallery in 1969-70. – Sir Robin Mackworth-Young, curator at Windsor Castle, approved printing. Out of print since long in the Italian (480 copies) and the German (300 copies) editions, now also the English version limited to 998 numbered copies approaches its end.
