The  critical  inventory  catalogue  – honoured as one the 50 most beautiful books of the year 1972 – of the bequest of drawings of the, so Wolfgang Pehnt, “chief architect and designer of the artist colony at Darmstadt” as the “scene (of his) triumphant successes” (first the Mathildenhöhe), the builder of the Vienna Secession Building , the department store Tietz (Kaufhof) in Dusseldorf etc. – Illustrations + texts to about 2300 items illustrate both the method of the artist as one of the most interesting epochs of newer architecture. Out of print and wanted since the early 80s. – From the introduction:
