IV, 10078; Singer 2489; Strauss 342. – “The first systematic and critical catalogue, listing one hundred (copper + iron) engravings” concepted after the corresponding 1751 catalogue of the Rembrandt prints by Edmé François Gersaint. – The Frankfort Dürer collection of Hüs(s)gen started in 1772 and since 1873 in the Library of the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts (Lugt, Suppl., 2574). – Small owner’s stamp on title and following leaf. – At the beginning some pages somewhat spotted, of four color spots in the lower edge three present in the outermost lower margin throughout. Small tear off in the upper fly-leaves and acid-freely repaired tiny tear in the wide white lower margin. Edges of the binding a little rubbed. – Rare.
